Caitlin Clark Reacts to Former Coach’s Message After Huge Announcement.
The broad impact of Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark continues to be felt with yet another career achievement.
On Sept. 9, Wilson announced the release of two exclusive Clark-inspired basketballs. One features a colorway of purple, pink and yellow, while the other features the colors of Clark’s college squad, the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Iowa assistant coach Raina Harmon, who helped mentor Clark in her four years with the Hawkeyes, proudly shared the Fever rookie’s latest milestone on her Instagram Story and gave a heartfelt message.
“Continue to dream kid, you’re just getting started!” wrote Harmon.

The 22-year-old Clark appreciated her former coach’s kind words and reposted it on her Instagram Story. She added three heart emojis.
Clark led Iowa to back-to-back appearances in the finals of the NCAA Tournament and three straight Big Ten crowns. She finished her iconic college career with averages of 28.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game.
She also set the career scoring record in NCAA Division I history, regardless of gender, with 3,951 points, surpassing the late great Pete Maravich.
Clark has carried her stellar play to the WNBA, helping the Fever advance to the playoffs for the first time since 2016. She is considered a frontrunner for the MVP trophy.
In May 2024, Wilson announced that it signed Clark to a multi-year deal, describing her as a “cultural icon who has had a profound impact on the game” in a media release.
