Caitlin Clark Sends Emotional Two-Word Message to Her Boyfriend.
The WNBA announced Caitlin Clark as the WNBA Rookie of the Year on Thursday. Following the announcement, there were plenty of reactions congratulating the rookie.
Clark reposted a few of the reactions posted by the Indiana Fever, Wilson basketball, Gatorade, Nike and State Farm. After she reposted photos from those accounts, Clark shared a picture of her and her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery.
The rookie posted a picture of her hugging McCaffery on WNBA draft night. After mentioning that the photo was taken during draft day, Clark tagged McCaffery with the comment “I’m lucky,” adding the black heart emoji.
McCaffery also reposted the photo from Clark.

Clark was drafted with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 draft. After four years with the Iowa Hawkeyes at the collegiate level, Clark was considered one the top draft prospects in WNBA history.
There were a handful of elite options for the Fever to select in the draft like Cameron Brink, Kamilla Cardoso and Angel Reese, but Indiana’a decision to go with Clark paid dividends.

She helped the Fever secure a spot in the WNBA playoffs for the first time since 2016. They finished the year as the No. 6 seed in the WNBA standings with a 20-20 record, earning their first 20-win season since 2015.
