Indiana Fever star point guard Caitlin Clark is spending part of her offseason giving back to her community.

She was recently photographed at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital – where the former Hawkeyes star was seen visiting patients.

Clark was joined by her fellow former Iowa Hawkeye and WNBA star Kate Martin as well as some dogs in trying to bring cheer to the patients.

The two women’s basketball players were seen coloring with children and giving away WNBA-branded Gatorade water bottles.

Clark is in the midst of her first offseason as a professional after a long season that came almost immediately after she ended her college tenure.

The college season began in November of 2023 – with Iowa making a run all the way to the national championship game in the first week of April.

Over a week later, the WNBA Draft took place and Clark was selected first overall by the Fever.

She almost immediately got back in the rhythm of playing – helping guide the Fever to the playoffs and breaking a long drought.

Unfortunately for her, Indiana was eliminated in the first round by the Connecticut Sun.

But what this does mean is that Clark has plenty of time to rest, train, and recover from a gruelingly long basketball calendar.

It’s possible that Clark does end up getting back into playing during the offseason – with the newly formed Unrivaled Basketball league openly courting her.

Clark has previously stated that she plans to focus on recovery until the WNBA season starts back up again, but it’s possible that she could join the league which has already signed stars like Breanna Stewart, Napheesa Collier, and Angel Reese among others.
