Caitlin Clark’s brother hasn’t been too vocal about his opinion on certain topics, but there is always a way to tell what he’s thinking. Colin Clark recently liked a photo on X about the success of Kate Martin following her first start with the Las Vegas Aces.
“Kate Martin got drafted out of the audience having no clue if her name would get called at all, went to training camp, made the roster, and is STARTING tonight for THE LAS VEGAS ACES REIGNING NATIONAL CHAMPS,” said mars on X.
Martin’s story is like a fairy tale. She played six seasons with the Iowa Hawkeyes before leaving the school in 2024. The veteran guard was selected with a second-round pick from the Aces, and the rest is history.
It’s clear that Clark is proud of Martin and the journey that she’s gone through to fulfill her dreams.

Martin is currently averaging 51. points and 3.5 rebounds, serving as a start for the Aces. She got the nod against the Los Angeles Sparks, where she produced a career-high 13 points in a career-high 32 minutes of game action.
The former Iowa captain has truly turned into a serviceable piece for the Aces, and it’s incredible to see, given the fact that she was selected out of the stands in the 2024 WNBA draft.
