Caitlin Clark’s Hilarious Response to Gabbie Marshall’s Date Night Update
Caitlin Clark has concluded her debut season with the Indiana Fever, following a swift exit from the WNBA playoffs at the hands of the Connecticut Sun, who dispatched them decisively in just two matches.
Despite the abrupt ending, Clark’s inaugural professional journey is poised to be remembered as one of the most remarkable in the history of the league.
Not only did she play a pivotal role in leading the Fever back to the postseason for the first time in eight years, but the former No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft also shattered numerous records along the way, notably setting a new benchmark for the most assists recorded in a single season.
Prior to her stellar All-WNBA first-team recognition, Clark honed her skills over four seasons with the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Teaming up with fellow Iowa luminaries such as Gabbie Marshall and Kate Martin, Clark was instrumental in propelling her squad to two consecutive NCAAW national championship appearances, though they narrowly missed out on clinching the title in both attempts.

On Saturday, Marshall took to Instagram to share snapshots from a delightful date night, featuring a delightful assortment of four photos, including a sweet one with her partner.
She captioned the post, “date nights are my fav,” adorned with a green heart emoji.
Staying true to their enduring friendship, Clark couldn’t resist leaving a cheeky four-word comment in response to Marshall’s life update. “Hawtttttt,” she remarked in the comments, adding, “Love you two.”
During her five-season tenure with the Hawkeyes, Marshall participated in 166 games, starting in 137 of them. She posted career averages of 6.6 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.4 steals per game.
However, rather than pursue a professional basketball career, Marshall made the significant decision to hang up her sneakers following the 2023-24 college basketball season, opting instead to further her education in graduate school.
