Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark recently posted an Instagram slideshow that went viral, catching the eye of her former teammates at Iowa. Clark displayed a picture of her in a Fever uniform next to a photo of her as a young child, with the caption “Time flies.”
Clark has been playing basketball her whole life. Her highlights from college feature some of the best plays in women’s basketball history in the NCAA. College basketballs’s all-time leading scorer has also had her grade school and high school highlights surface the internet.
She committed to the Iowa Hawyekes as one of the most highly touted players in the country and once she arrived in Iowa City, she found a new home.
Clark’s bond with Iowa players like Kate Martin and Gabbie Marshall have been in the public eye, but it seems see also carried a tight relationship with players like Jada Gyamfi, Sydney Affolter, and Kennise Johnson.

These three players from the infamous Iowa roster with the NCAA superstar in 2024 commented on Clark’s post, revealing some emotional messages to the Indiana rookie.
“So proud of you, love you,” said Johnson.
“This is so cute,” said Affolter.
“Gosh you’re so cute!! Miss you. Come to the big deck pls.” said Gyamfi.
Clark left her mark in the NCAA as the all-time leading scorer, but she also left college as the 2024 Big Ten Player of the Year and the most popular women’s basketball player in the country.
After playing four years at Iowa, she cemented her legacy and now has a lifelong bond with her Hawkeyes teammates.
