The 2024 WNBA Draft is set to be, most likely, the draft with the highest viewership in the history of the event.

A lot of that is due to Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, who revolutionized women’s college basketball and are set to enter the WNBA this upcoming season. But it’s not just them: there’s a ton of high-level talent in this year’s draft.

This is how they received Angel Reese and recruits in the 2024 WNBA Draft

WNBA provides gifts for incoming rookies in nice gesture

Knowing how important these young players will be for the future of the league, the WNBA hooked them up with gift baskets featuring all kinds of goodies.

Reese was the first one to walk through the door, in a giddy manner. She was followed by Cameron Brink, Dyaisha Fair and others.

From perfume to haircare and skincare products and even some rosé, it was a nice gesture for the incoming wave of new players.

Some fans were surprised to not see Clark or Kamilla Cardoso at the event, but they will surely be present in Brooklyn when the draft takes place. It will be shown on ESPN and will begin at 7:30pm ET.
