Chicago Sky Star Angel Reese Announces Major Change Is Coming To Her Appearance Following Loss To Seattle.
Chicago Sky star rookie Angel Reese has decided to change up her appearance following the team’s frustrating loss to the Seattle Storm on Sunday.
Angel Reese recorded a double-double in the Sky’s 84-71 loss, tallying 17 points and 14 rebounds. She made 8-of-15 field goal attempts and had four steals against a surging Seattle team.

A fan on X/Twitter asked Reese to maintain her hairstyle after the latter shared several new images of her new outfit. Reese responded to the fan by stating she’s at a hair salon “getting a new style”:
i’m sitting in the chair right now getting a new style 😭😫 — Angel Reese (@Reese10Angel) July 8, 2024
Despite the loss on Sunday, Angel Reese made history by recording a double-double in 13 consecutive games. This broke the record previously held by Los Angeles Sparks icon and seven-time All-Star Candace Parker.
The LSU star and 2023 national champion was selected seventh overall by Chicago in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Reese has come as advertised, averaging 14.1 points, 11.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game over her first 20 games.
i loveeee me a double double but i’ve never been a rebound😉 — Angel Reese (@Reese10Angel) July 8, 2024
Angel Reese is just one of three rookies averaging double-digit points per game this season, along with Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever (16.1 PPG) and Rickea Jackson of Los Angeles (10.4 PPG).
Angel Reese & Sky Are Making A Big Push For Playoffs
Like Caitlin Clark’s fever, the playoffs initially felt like a pipe dream for Chicago after a slow start. They dropped nine of their first 13 games, and a mini two-game winning streak was essentially canceled out with another two-game losing skid.
Slowly but surely, however, the Sky have shown considerable improvement. They picked up two straight wins (over Atlanta and Seattle) before losing the second half of a home-and-home on Sunday.
At 8-12, the Sky currently occupy the eighth and final playoff spot. They’re one game up on ninth-seeded Atlanta, tied with Indiana for the No. 7 seed and only 2.5 games behind the Phoenix Mercury for sixth.
