Skip Bayless has expressed his confusion at how little time Caitlin Clark got on the court during the Indiana Fever’s game against the Connecticut Sun.

The WNBA rookie only played 21:58 minutes on Monday night as the Fever suffered yet another loss to continue their inconsistent season.

Christie Sides angers Skip Bayless and thousands of fans with her bizarre decision to 'hide' Caitlin Clark

She missed the entire fourth quarter of the game. Clark played the starting 5:19 minutes in the third quarter but coach Christie Sides took her off and she never returned.

She ended with four fouls to her name but the fans clearly expected her to play a lot more than that.

Bayless perplexed by Clark’s appearance

NBA analyst Skip Bayless was one of many who could not understand how little time Sides gave Clark on the court.

He took to X and said: “A little odd that Caitlin Clark left the game mid-3rd q with 4 fouls and never returned, even as fans in Ct. chanted, ‘We want Caitlin.’ Yes, it was a blowout. And yes, Dijonai Carrington is a tough matchup for her. But only 22 minutes, when she needs reps? Odd.”

The Fever were losing 39-65 to Connecticut at the time that Clark was taken off by Sides and there was an upturn from those who did not start.

It still wasn’t enough though, as they suffered their 10th defeat of the season by a 72-89 scoreline, meaning they now have a 3-10 record.

Clark is in a tough spot during her first WNBA season as she has been left out of Team USA’s roster for the Olympics and the Fever are not performing well.
