Dallas Wings Deliver Major News Ahead Of Caitlin Clark, Fever Clash.
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are headed to Dallas on Wednesday to face off against the Wings at 7:30 p.m. ET. Ahead of the game, the Wings’ official social media account announced that the primetime matchup has officially been sold out.
“Anotha game, anotha sell out,” the post said.
This has been a frequent occurrence throughout the Fever’s 2024 season. They’re one of the most watched teams in the WNBA as of late, having eclipsed over one million viewers in several games. Their game against the Chicago Sky on June 23 was the most-watched WNBA game in the last 23 years, earning over 2.3 million viewers in the 88-87 loss.

Indiana is set to play against the worst-ranked team in the WNBA this season. Dallas currently sits at 5-19, riding a three-game losing streak. They’ve lost eight of their last ten games.
On the opposite side of the matchup, the Fever picked up an 81-74 victory against the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday, advancing to 11-14 this season. Indiana’s two-game win streak has helped them secure the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference rankings and No. 7 in the WNBA.
Clark has helped lead the Fever next to Aliyah Boston. The rookie out of Iowa has averaged 16.8 points and 7.8 assists per game in her first year in the league.
Dallas’ matchup with the Fever won’t be the first time they’ll play in front of a sold-out crowd at home, but given the viewership numbers from Indiana, it’s clear that the away team helped boost ticket sales.
