While Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin never won a national championship as Iowa Hawkeyes, the success they had there still cements them in history.

Especially considering all the fantastic teams they beat; such as Angel Reese’s LSU Tigers squad, the year after Iowa lost to LSU in the 2023 NCAA National Championship.

Iowa ended up winning the 2024 rematch 94-87, which sent them to the Final Four.

It was an intense back and forth game that featured three of the WNBA’s biggest rookie superstars.

And a video of Clark and Martin interacting before their showdown against Reese resurfaced on X Sunday.

The video (which was posted by X user @IowaBOP) shows the two Hawkeyes dancing together in the locker room pregame.

“CC and Kate Martin before the LSU game this year… LSU never stood a chance,” the post’s caption writes.

After Clark and Martin’s exchange, the camera then flashes to a side profile of Reese, who seems to be in a completely different mindset before what was eventually her final collegiate basketball game.

Reese finished the game with 17 points and 20 rebounds.

Clark had 41 points, 12 assists, and 7 rebounds, and Martin added 21 points.

Hence why they’re now all playing in the WNBA.
