Angel Reese and Hailey Van Lith reunite as teammates on the Chicago Sky in the WNBA after playing together at LSU in college.
Reese and Hailey Van Lith started training camp for the Chicago Sky. Reese is entering her second WNBA season, while Van Lith is making the jump from college.
Ahead of her second go-around as Van Lith’s teammate, Reese encouraged the 2025 No. 11 overall pick to stay “poised” in what will be a more challenging environment.
They may be ready to work again, but they also make time to have some fun. Angel Reese and Hailey are going viral with their selfie video on Media Day in Chicago.
In her lone season with TCU, Van Lith reminded people of what she could do as she was named the Big 12 Player of the Year and won the conference’s tournament championship, all while rebuilding her WNBA draft stock.
She transferred to LSU as a junior ahead of the 2023-24 season to team up with Reese, but her numbers would drop across the board as their run came to an end in the Elite Eight.

Angel Reese’s 2024 season was nothing short of transformative, and she only continued the good times when she played in Unrivaled.
Reese was named the Defensive Player of the Year for the inaugural season of the Unrivaled Women’s Basketball League.
Reese, who played for Rose, averaged a league-leading 12.1 rebounds in her 14 appearances to go along with 13.1 points, 1.9 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.6 blocks.
Despite finishing in second place in the regular-season standings with an 8-6 record, the team went on to win it all and claim the championship.
Reese’s influence wasn’t limited to the basketball court as the more dislike she got from fans led to more opportunities, like her landing endorsements with powerhouse brands such as Reebok and McDonald’s while building a social media presence that made her one of the most recognizable athletes in the league.
