Last night, Team Canada was taking on Team Sweden in the first game of the Four Nations Faceoff tournament, and Brad Marchand and the team received some terrible news right after the game.
Canada just barley ended up beating Sweden after going up 3-1, Sweden was able to come back and tie things up in the third period, but Canada took the win in overtime beating Sweden 4-3.

Captain Sidney Crosby played a massive role for Canada having three assists, setting up a beautiful goal on the power play just 12 seconds into the power play. He would also go on to set up the game winning goal and earned himself the first star of the game.
Shockingly putting the best Canadians in the world on the ice together resulted in Sidney Crosby putting on a show a minute in.
Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand played a big factor as well, scoring the second goal for Team Canada even though he only saw 11:22 of ice time.
