Iowa earned its fair share of representation among the Big Ten all-conference honorees on Tuesday, with Lucy Olsen being named first-team all-conference, Hannah Stuelke earning a spot on the second-team by the media and honorable mention by the coaches, while Sydney Affolter found herself on the honorable mention squad as well.

In her first and only year in Iowa City after four years at Villanova, Olsen was named First-Team All-Big Ten by the coaches and media. In 27 games and 27 starts at point guard for the Hawkeyes, the Collegeville, Pennsylvania native averaged 18 points and 4.8 assists per game to lead Iowa in both statistical categories. She added 3.7 rebounds per game, as well.
In addition to leading the Hawkeyes in points and assists per contest, Olsen finished as the team leader in minutes (932), total field goals (183), total points (487), total assists (129) and was third in steals (30).
This is the third time Olsen has received all-conference honors in her career, as she was previously named First-Team All-Big East in 2023-24, second-team all-conference in 2022-23 and was named to the Big East All Rookie Team in 2021-22.
In her third year with the Hawkeyes, Hannah Stuelke finished second on the team in scoring with 13 ppg and in rebounding at 7.9 per contest while adding 2.4 assists per game. In 27 starts, Stuelke’s role fluctuated between the power forward and center positions, ultimately finding comfortability in playing the five later on in the season. She capped the year with one of her better games of the season, totaling 21 points, 15 rebounds and four steals against Wisconsin on Sunday.
All told, she led the Hawkeyes in offensive rebounds (70), while finishing second in total rebounds (212). She also led Iowa in free throws made this season (105) and finished third in minutes played (766).
Hailing from just up the road in Cedar Rapids, this was Stuelke’s second-straight season earning second-team honors by the media. She earned the same distinction from the coaches last season, as well. During her freshman campaign, Stuelke was named the Big Ten Sixth Player of the Year.
Rounding out the trio of all-conference honorees, Sydney Affolter was named to the honorable mention team by the media while also earning the Sportsmanship Award from the conference.
This season, the senior posted 8.5 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists per contest over 28 games and 27 starts. She led the Hawkeyes in total rebounds (228), defensive rebounds (181), steals (37), three-point percentage (46.4%). She finished second in minutes (830) and assists (80).
The Chicago native posted single-game career highs in points (24), rebounds (15) and minutes (40) during her senior campaign.
This is the second conference honor for Affolter, who was named to the Big Ten’s All-Tournament Team last season.
