“I’m just enjoying this whole journey. It’s such a unique experience myself. I have been a part of really good teams that have accomplished big things and some that haven’t.

Regardless of what you realize, these opportunities are few, and you get to enjoy every day in this league. And I’m having a lot of fun right now.

The guys are awesome. Starting to build some chemistry with everyone, just feeling more comfortable every day. “When you have all those weapons, it can get frustrating,” shared Brad Marchand, who is now a Panther and not a Bruin

Talking about their 4-1 win against the Detroit Red Wings, Florida Panthers’ ice hockey left winger Brad Marchand shared, “I liked their game. We knew they were gonna come out and give it everything they had.

But, it’s just such a hard game to play against, the way this team plays, and you know, we could have played a little bit better at times, but for the most part, we were good and came up at the right times.

Then, when we broke down, Bob(Sergei Bobrovsky) had a great game back there to kind of hold the fort down. So, you know, when you have all those weapons, it can get frustrating.”

“They get you amped up to want to play the right way,” shared Brad Marchand about his new team, Florida Panthers

On being asked if he loved the Florida Panthers’ style of playing ice hockey, the former Boston Bruins captain, Brad Marchand replied,

“I love the messaging. That’s one of the biggest things – the messaging that the team portrays in the room and on the benches is very simple to follow and very direct.

It’s a very aggressive style, and that’s kind of how I play. They put a system together that every guy can follow and play, regardless of your skill, your talent, or your physicality level.

The expectations are the same right through the lineup and the way that it comes across in the room, you know, they get you amped up to want to play the right way, and at the end of the day, they are building for something bigger, and you want to be part of that.”

Back in March 2025, when Brad Marchand was traded from the Boston Bruins to the Florida Panthers, Brad Marchand had shared with The Athletic, “If we(Boston Bruins) were in the playoffs at that point of time, we’d probably be having a much different conversation.” Florida Panthers has qualified for the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs for the sixth time in a row!
