Kate Martin’s Major WNBA Achievement Says It All

WNBA fans couldn’t be any happier for Las Vegas Aces rookie Kate Martin, who has soared into immense popularity in the league after being taken 18th overall in the 2024 Draft.

In fact, Martin is so popular that she has landed in the Top 5 of jersey sales for the first half of the 2024 season. The 24-year-old has even sold more jerseys than her MVP teammate A’ja Wilson, who was No. 5 on the list while she’s at No. 4.

Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and Sabrina Ionescu round out the Top 3 in jersey sales.

Having said that, Martin’s supporters took to social media to share how delighted and proud they are of her latest achievement. After all, Martin is the only non-All-Star in the Top 5, which speaks volumes about how famous she is.

“Kate Martin saved basketball,” a hyped fan shared on ESPN’s post. Another one said, “I’m so proud of Kate.”

“KATE MENTIONED RAHHHH,” a delighted commenter added.

“Kate has been kicking butt since the NCAA tournament and hasn’t slowed down yet!! Well deserved,” a social media user noted.

“I need that Kate Martin explorer jersey,” a fifth fan said.

It’s certainly a well-deserved honor for Martin. She didn’t expect to be in the WNBA, but when she got the chance, she put in the work and protected her spot. Now, her hard work is paying off as fans recognize her efforts.
