The LSU Tigers rallied from a halftime deficit against Middle Tennessee State to advance to the Sweet 16 of the 2024 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament.

LSU, a No. 3 seed, trailed the No. 11 seed Middle Tennessee State at halftime on Sunday.

However, the Tigers got rolling in the second half, ultimately winning, 83-56.

“Kim Mulkey, in a guttural voice summoned from the ancients, tells an opposing player exactly when and how she will die,” one fan joked.

“You think I didn’t look up your WaPo suspcription, Savannah?” another fan joked.

“Why is Kim Mulkey trying to steal Savannah Wheeler’s life force,” one fan added.

“Her and Drew Barrymore don’t know what personal space is,” one fan added.

LSU has moved on to the Sweet 16, as the Tigers are now just one game away from a potential Elite Eight matchup against No. 1 seed Caitlin Clark.
