Simone Biles recently opened up about the pilot-themed and other outfits featured during the Gold Over America Tour. Following the Paris Olympics, Biles along with other American gymnasts, including Olympic teammates Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera will tour 30 cities.
During her third appearance at the Olympics in Paris, Biles bagged four medals, including three gold medals and one silver medal. Fresh off the Olympic victories, the legendary gymnast continues to amaze her fans through the G.O.A.T Tour.
The Gold Over America Tour is a pop concert-like experience featuring the combination of gymnastics with dancing. The event showcases the gymnasts and the other athletes in vibrant outfits, inspired by a variety of themes, including a pilot design.
During an interview with Access Hollywood, Biles highlighted the playful and flirty nature of outfits designed for the Tour.
“These are a lot more playful, flirty, fun outfits because we want to resonate our outfits to the music and tell a story while doing it so the kids so far have loved all of it but they all match the music and the performance that we’re putting on so really just fun cute flirty,” Biles said.
Adding to Biles’ points, Chiles said:
“I mean there’s nothing more that you can get given when it comes to us being the people we are like.”
The G.O.A.T Tour will conclude on November 3, 2024, in Detroit, Michigan.
“It’s okay to not be okay” – Simone Biles expresses giving importance to mental health through the Gold Over America Tour
Simone Biles withdrew from the 2021 Tokyo Olympics after experiencing “twisties,” losing the sync between body and mind. Since then, she has been vocal about maintaining mental health.
In the second edition of the Tour, the legendary gymnast is trying to reflect on the importance of self-care. During an interview with Olympics.com, she stated that it is acceptable to experience breakdowns.
“Obviously, we wanted to share that story of ‘it’s okay to not be okay,'” Biles said. “This one is the outcome of putting in that work, taking care of yourself, and where it gets you.”
“It’s just what happens after you take care of yourself and the success that brings. And so I think that’s the exciting part about the story and what the show brings.”
Following her victorious streak at the Paris Olympics, Simone Biles became the most decorated female gymnast in the United States.
