In a deeply emotional turn of events, the world says goodbye to one of its most iconic wrestling legends — Hulk Hogan. A few months ago, Hogan surprised fans and followers alike when he publicly declared that he had dedicated his life to Jesus Christ, marking a powerful and personal transformation.
Hogan shared that he had experienced a spiritual rebirth, describing his baptism as a moment of “total surrender and dedication to Jesus.” In his own words, he called it “the greatest day of my life. No worries, no hate, no judgment… just love.” That declaration resonated with millions, showing a new side of the man who once ruled the ring with unmatched charisma and strength.
In his final days, Hogan was at peace. Surrounded by love, he passed on with a calm spirit, leaving behind a legacy not only of athletic greatness but also of faith, redemption, and compassion.
His passing left countless fans in mourning, including the entire Edmonton Oilers team, who reportedly listened in silence to his final words and paid tribute to the man who once inspired them with his larger-than-life persona and, later, his quiet humility.
Hogan is now, as many of his loved ones believe, “finally home” — resting in Heaven with God.
🙏🏻 Rest in peace, Hulk Hogan. You’ve traded the spotlight for eternal light.

Black fans are deep-frying Marlon Wayans for saluting wrestling legend Hulk Hogan after he passed away this week.
FEATURED ON ROLLING OUT
Hogan, 71, died after suffering a cardiac arrest in his Clearwater, Fla., home on July 24, and Marlon Wayans joined in on the celebration of Hogan’s life and legacy, much to the chagrin of his fellow African Americans.
While the vast majority of Americans paid homage to the transformational WWE performer, many in the Black community looked on at the outpouring of tributes with a measure of nausea and disgust.
Hogan, who was born in Augusta, Ga, as Terry Gene Bollea, has uttered some vile and virulently racist diatribes in his latter years that became publicized after his daughter, Brooke, leaked a boiling-hot phone conversation that was littered with the n-word. Hogan was enraged that she was dating a Black man, and he went thermonuclear on his daughter.
What Hulk Hogan said about Blacks
“I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f–king n—-rs,” he raged, according to the recording obtained by NBC News. “But then when it comes to nice people and s–t, and whatever.”
Continuing his rant, Hogan said, “I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f–k some n—-r, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n—-r worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! I guess we’re all a little racist. Fucking n—— r.”
Hulk later tried to repent, but it rang hollow to Black people because Hogan seemingly tried to hide behind environmental conditioning and said he was the product of his surroundings and upbringing.
The icy relations between Hogan and the Black community had not thawed 10 years later when he died. Many WrestleMania fans who are Black were particularly crushed because Hogan was one of their heroes who transcended the sport.
Now you can see why some had a big problem with Wayans paying tribute to the man who viewed Blacks as a subhuman species.
Marlon Wayans’ tribute to Hulk Hogan
“The Hulkster. Iconic, far from perfect. Flawed as hell… but you and Macho Man were my favorite wrestlers,” Wayans wrote to his seven million Instagram fans.
“I hope y’all leg locking or pile driving each other in the afterlife,” he added, referencing Hogan’s longtime wrestling partner and rival, Randy “Macho Man” Savage.
Many Black fans torch Marlon Wayans
Social media has savaged Wayans for having the audacity to pen a beautiful tribute to a man who used ugly words to describe Black people.
Two fans kept it simple, with one saying, “Bye Marlon,” while the other said, He’s a 🤡.”
Another in the comments section of The Jasmine Brand said, “Marlon stay outta them folks business sir 😂😂😂😂.”
A third person said, “I will always remember when Hulk Hogan’s son killed someone while driving drunk and the Hulkster said his whole family would be reincarnated as black people as punishment”.
One person defended Wayans by illuminating the hypocrisy in many Black critics. “Black ppl that wear Coach, Gucci, and Tommy Hilfiger but mad at Marlon. Shut up.”
Another person references his hit movie White Girls by stating, “I don’t expect anything less from these white women.”
The next two commenters said, “Now Marlon…” and “Now Marlon 😒 don’t piss me off.”
A third person came from an existential perspective. “His words and actions were way more than ‘flawed and imperfect.’ You really should be ashamed of yourself! I want no parts of a heaven that he gets into!”
