SHOCKING FOOTAGE: Phoenix Coach Claims A’Ja Wilson & WNBA Refs RIGGED Game 4 of the WNBA Finals! 👀
Buckle up, WNBA fans — things just got messy.
In a jaw-dropping post-Finals twist, a Phoenix Mercury assistant coach has allegedly released shocking video footage claiming that Game 4 of the WNBA Finals was rigged in favor of the Las Vegas Aces — and at the center of it all? A’Ja Wilson and the referees.
The footage, which is now spreading like wildfire online, appears to show questionable calls, missed fouls, and bizarre no-calls — all benefitting the Aces in critical moments of the game. The coach, who remains unnamed at this point, claims this is proof of “intentional manipulation” to ensure Las Vegas walked away with the championship rings.
“They didn’t just win — they were handed that game,” the coach said in a now-deleted livestream. “Watch the tape. It speaks for itself.”
The viral video highlights several plays, including:
A blatant missed foul as A’Ja Wilson drives to the hoop.
A controversial technical called on a Phoenix Mercury player after reacting to a no-call.
A suspicious amount of free throws awarded to the Aces in the closing minutes.
A’Ja Wilson Under Fire
While Wilson had a dominant performance throughout the Finals — earning Finals MVP — critics are now questioning whether her legacy is being tainted by controversy.
On social media, fans are divided. Some are demanding a league investigation. Others are calling the whole thing a desperate reach by a salty opposing coach.
“The refs didn’t shoot 25 points a night — A’Ja did that,” one fan wrote.
“I watched Game 4 again. It’s sketchy. That whistle was one-sided,” another posted.
League Yet to Respond
So far, the WNBA has not issued an official statement regarding the video or the accusations. But with the offseason now underway — and CBA talks already tense — this could be just the beginning of a much larger scandal.
One thing’s for sure: This WNBA offseason is already hotter than the Finals themselves.

WNBA icon A’ja Wilson wowed her fans when she unveiled her stunning new tresses that are earning rave reviews from coiffure critics.
Fans adore A’ja Wilson’s new look
Wilson flexed her new look while sitting her core teammates, Chelsea Gray, Jackie Young, and Jewell Loyd for “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, Oct. 14. The Las Vegas Aces were guests on the show after resoundingly vanquishing the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA championship series, 4-0.
The Aces championship pedigree on display
All four players have won at least three championships in the past decade, with Wilson, Gray and Young winning the title for the third time in the past four years. Loyd, nicknamed the “Gold Mamba” by the late legendary Kobe Bryant (who was called the “Black Mamba”) won two titles with the Seattle Storm before joining the Aces for the 2025 season. Gray also won a title with the Los Angeles Sparks before coming to the team in 2022.
1 of sports’ greatest ever in-season turnarounds
The Aces just completed the greatest single-season turnaround in the 28-year history of the WNBA. The Aces crashed and burned and were a sub-.500 ballclub (13-14) in early August. Worse, the proud Aces were completely demolished by 53 points at home by the Minnesota Lynx, 111-58, the greatest home loss ever suffered by any team.
However, after acquiring NaLyssa Smith and moving Jewell Loyd to the bench, the Aces reeled off a remarkable 16-game winning streak to close out the season and rocketed from 9th place in the WNBA to the 2-seed within a month. The Aces survived the Seattle Storm and Indiana Fever in back-to-back playoff series before manhandling the Mercury in the Finals.
A’ja Wilson makes even more history
To cap off this unbelievable season, Wilson, 29, orchestrated one of the greatest single seasons of all time. She became the first player to ever win the scoring title, the MVP, the Defensive Player of the Year, the championship, and earn Finals MVP in the same year.
As if things weren’t going well enough, Wilson received rave reviews for her new look, with one fan saying in the comments section of “Good Morning America’s” YouTube page: “A’ja really pulled out the Whitney Houston piece for GMA. Just living it up!” Although a second person said derisively, “She lost a bet?”
Fans fawn over A’ja Wilson’s new ‘do
On the WNBA’s Instagram page, the fans showered the four-time MVP with love for her hairstyle. “Aja plays too much but I love it 😂😂😂,” while a second person fawned over her, saying, “A’ja look so cute 🥰.”
A third user told Wilson, “Ok Aja Braxton!!! 😅😅,” in reference to the beautiful and legendary singer, Toni Braxton, while others compared Wilson to beloved entertainers Angela Bassett and Whitney Houston.
One person is in admiration of, and simultaneously jealous, that Wilson can pull off this bodacious and sophisticated look. “A’ja I hate you and love you at the same time. You look amazing And gives Whitney H. Vibes.. so fun to watch btw looking beautiful.”
Finally, another Aces fan told the statuesque superstar that she loves that she switched it up on the culture. “ajaaaaa😭 ain’t takin a damn thing serious. AND SHE LOOKS GOOD W IT.”
Meanwhile, the Aces announced they will be hosting their championship parade along the world-famous Vegas Strip on Friday, Oct. 17.
