Fans of the WNBA are set to be treated to a fascinating matchup on Wednesday between the league’s top team the Connecticut Sun and the Angel Reese-led Chicago Sky.
Reese and the Sky have been one of the biggest stories in the sport through the early part of the season thanks to the popularity she gained during her time at LSU. After being one of college basketball’s most imposing players, she is now one of the new faces of the WNBA along with her rival, Caitlin Clark.
Reese has few signs of struggling at the professional level, as she is essentially averaging a double-double through her first 10 games and has already established herself as one of the league’s premier offensive rebounders. She will likely have her biggest test yet, as the Sun is led by an elite duo of forwards in Brionna Jones and Dewanna Bonner.

According to ESPN, the Sun are favored by 7.5 points as they look to advance to 11-1 on the season.
