Angel Reese is one of the most famous WNBA players in the league. She went into the same draft class as quite possibly the future goat of the WNBA, Caitlin Clark, and yet fans have not held back on the young star.
Reese struggled in her debut season with the Chicago Sky. During the 2024 regular season, the 22-year-old averaged just over 13 points per game while seeing time in 34 of Chicago’s 40 games, a tough start for the rookie.
However, given that she is one of the most hyped prospects in the WNBA and that she came out of LSU with some of the most insane highlight reels you’ll ever see, her sponsorship deals are absolutely insane.
Of course, it was bound to be signed by Reeses Puffs, as her name fits perfectly with the company. Angel Reese would sign with the cereal company in August 2024 and would be the face of a special edition cereal and a duffel bag.
Jason Whitlock Responds To WNBA Fan Buy Angel Reese Cereal
Now that Reese’s Puffs are in stores, fans have been flocking to get the special edition cereal. Although the amount of compensation is unclear, the odds are that the cereal company made quite a profit with its sales.
Not every fan is happy with the Chicago Sky star’s cereal, as some are now joking at her expense. In a video posted to X, one fan can be seen joking at Reese’s expense as they pretend to miss the cart while throwing her cereal in.
The video criticized the WNBA star for failing to hit many of her shots during the 2024 season. It received attention from analyst Jason Whitlock, who claimed the “app has no chill.”
Even if the app doesn’t have chill, it has to be admitted that the video was pretty funny, and the odds are that Angel Reese will be way better during the 2025 WNBA season.
