Gamecock Nation is beaming with pride as rising basketball star Collin Murray-Boyles earns a top positional grade heading into the 2025 NBA Draft. The power forward, known for his athleticism, grit, and versatility on the court, has officially entered elite territory—catching the attention of scouts and analysts across the country.
But while the basketball world is buzzing, no one is prouder than Chloe Kitts.
Shortly after the rankings were released, Kitts, the Gamecocks’ beloved forward and Collin’s fiancée, took to social media with a short, powerful message that sent fans swooning:
“That’s my man.”
The three words, paired with a heart emoji and a photo of the couple embracing courtside, immediately went viral. Fans flooded the comments with love, calling them a “Gamecock power couple” and celebrating their shared success both on and off the court.
The emotional post comes just days after Kitts announced that she and Murray-Boyles plan to tie the knot in autumn next year, making this week a whirlwind of excitement for the young couple.
As Collin Murray-Boyles continues to rise on NBA draft boards, it’s clear he’s not just winning on the hardwood—he’s also winning hearts. And with Chloe Kitts by his side, Gamecock Nation has plenty to cheer for.

South Carolina basketball star Collin Murray-Boyles declared for the NBA Draft two weeks ago. He still has about a month and a half to continue going through the pre-draft process before making a final decision on whether he should stay in the draft or make a surprise return to the Gamecocks. However, most of his draft projections are high.
This week, On3’s James Fletcher released his updated NBA Draft big board and player rankings. Murray-Boyles slotted in as the No. 1 power forward in the entire draft. (For those wondering, Duke’s Cooper Flagg is listed as a small forward in this exercise.)
Even without a fully fleshed-out offensive game, Murray-Boyles’ defensive ability and baseline tools on offense are enough to have NBA scouts salivating over what he could be. He has not shown much as a shooter yet, but he’s good at virtually everything else.
Said Fletcher, “Collin Murray-Boyles is a projectable player who promises to fit into many NBA schemes, with the ability to guard multiple positions with strength and quickness. He must develop his offensive game into a more professional style to make the most of his skillset and find a big role.”

Fletcher’s grade mirrors other recent NBA Draft predictions for Murray-Boyles. The South Carolina native has earned top three positional grades from most outlets this offseason. He also has been included in the lottery (top 14 picks) by many recent projections.
This season at South Carolina, Murray-Boyles averaged 16.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks. He was also the SEC’s leader in field goal percentage (58%) among qualified players. No other player in college basketball averaged at least 16 points, eight rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block while shooting 55% from the field.
Pairing that production with elite defense, it’s no wonder CMB is a big-time prospect. If he can become a serviceable shooter, he could be a successful pro for a long time.
This year’s NBA Draft will take place on Friday, June 25th and Saturday, June 26th. Murray-Boyles’ final deadline to decide if he will return to school or stay in the draft will be June 15th. ABC, ESPN, and the ESPN app will broadcast and stream coverage of the festivities.
