Stephen A Smith HUMILIATES Angel Reese After Her Latest STUNT! She’s No Caitlin Clark!

Just when it looked like the WNBA had finally figured things out—finally ready to ride Caitlin Clark of WNBA Indiana Fever rocket ship straight into sports relevance and serious money—they went ahead and tripped over their own shoelaces.

Fans are furious, talk shows are in a frenzy, and Stephen A. Smith? Oh, he’s practically levitating with rage.

He’s calling out everyone: the WNBA bullies, Commissioner Cathy Engelbert, and most especially Angel Reese of WNBA Chicago Sky, who—true to form—is out here faking a back injury like it’s part of her brand strategy.

WNBA star Angel Reese is making lemonade out of lemons. The stunning WNBA star, whose Chicago Sky failed to make the postseason, is putting a turbulent season behind her by taking a fashionable reset.

The 23-year-old LSU alum just shared a social media post which she captioned, “let me put you in some pucci & take you out the country,” followed by a series of photos of the leggy baller rocking a green and blue Pucci one-piece swimsuit. Reese completed the look with an accompanying Pucci scarf, which kept her perfect curls out of her face while spending a relaxing day boating.

Fans commented, “Breathtaking,” while another lauded the WNBA star’s vacation vibes, writing, “I love that she’s like season over … vacation and soft life starts!”

Other fans took to the comments section to implore the controversial WNBA star to continue playing for the Chicago Sky after a season’s end that led many fans to believe Reese will move on next season.

“Please don’t leave Chicago,” one fan wrote, followed by a broken heart emoji.

Is Angel Reese Leaving the Chicago Sky?

The outspoken basketball star was suspended at the end of the 2025 WNBA season for making “statements detrimental to the team” after the former national champion gave an interview to the Chicago Tribune where she made comments critical of her teammates. Reese’s season was made harder by a back injury which dogged her for the second half of 2025. She ultimately played just 30 games, and the Sky finished the season tied with Paige Bueckers’ Dallas Wings for the worst record in the league.

Asked about Reese’s future with the Chicago Sky, head coach Tyler Marsh gave an unconvincing, “Sure,” leaving many to believe Reese has played her last game with the team.

At Thursday’s Sky vs. Liberty game, a fan was seen wearing a “Free Angel” shirt. Rather than remove the fan from the stadium, Reese’s security team escorted the fan to a courtside seat, a probably indicator of Reese’s current standing with the Chicago Sky front office.

While the 2025 WNBA playoffs are underway, Reese seems to be putting the noise behind her—and she’s making a stylish statement while doing it.
