Tom Brady’s daughter Vivian ‘betrayed’ Simone Biles at 2024 Olympics through Gisele Bundchen’s heritage
Biles took silver in the floor exercise after being beaten by Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade
There was one person rooting against the United States’ Simone Biles and it was Tom Brady’s daughter, but why did the 11-year-old decide to back Rebeca Andrade at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France?
Andrade, from Brazil, took gold in the floor exercise at the Bercy Arena in the City of Love on August 5 whilst Biles had to settle for silver and Jordan Chiles was later stripped of her bronze, but enjoyed the moment on the podium.
Yet Vivian Brady, daughter of the New England Patriots’ legendary ex-quarterback, was rooting against Biles thanks to her Brazilian heritage through her mother, Gisele Bundchen, as she celebrated Andrade’s win.
“Rebeca for Brazil,” Vivian Brady said in Tom Brady’s vlog, titled, My 72 Hours at the Paris Olympics || Last Week with Tom Brady, after the 47-year-old backed Biles to win the floor exercise event.
Brady thoroughly loved his time at the 2024 Olympic Games and even enjoyed that there was a 50:50 split between men and women in the event, the first time that it has ever happened in the history of the Summer Games.
“It was especially meaningful to be able to come to this incredible city with my daughter,” Brady added in the caption of the video from August 8. “And watch the most powerful women I’ve ever seen, fight for gold, silver, and bronze.”
Brady prepares for NFL return
Brady is currently preparing to return to the NFL, but not as a quarterback. He will join FOX Sports for the 2024/25 season to serve as an analyst and pundit, giving fans a rare insight into how his mind works when he’s watching a football game unfold in front of him.
The opening game will see the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Baltimore Ravens on September 5 at 20:20 ET/17:20 PT at the Arrowhead Stadium, in a rematch of the 2023 AFC Conference Championship game.
