Trump goes scorched earth on Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jone

President Donald Trump slammed conservative commentators Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones in a lengthy Truth Social post on Thursday.

Each media figure has criticized Trump’s war in Iran one way or another since it started on Feb. 28.

“I know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years, especially by the fact that they think it is wonderful for Iran, the Number One State Sponsor of Terror, to have a Nuclear Weapon — Because they have one thing in common, Low IQs,” Trump wrote.

“They’re stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it, too! Look at their past, look at their record,” he continued. “They don’t h

ave what it takes, and they never did! They’ve all been thrown off Television, lost their Shows, and aren’t even invited on TV because nobody cares about them, they’re NUT JOBS, TROUBLEMAKERS, and will say anything necessary for some ‘free’ and cheap publicity.”

Further down in the post, Trump hurled personal insults at the four pundits.

Trump called Carlson “a broken man when he got fired from Fox,” claiming “he’s never been the same” and stating he needs to “see a good psychiatrist.” Trump briefly criticized Kelly for asking him in 2015 about his past derogatory comments about women, to which he responded, “Only [comedian] Rosie O’Donnell.”

Taking a dig at Owens, Trump referenced the former Daily Wire host’s legal battle with French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron. Owens perpetuated the idea that France’s first lady was born male.

The podcaster, known for her conspiracy theories, has provided no evidence to back up her claim. Meanwhile, the Macrons have provided scientific evidence to a court to prove that the first lady is a woman.

“‘Crazy’ Candace Owens, who accuses the Highly Respected First Lady of France of being a man, when she is not, and will hopefully win lots of money in the ongoing lawsuit,” Trump said.

“Actually, to me, the First Lady of France is a far more beautiful woman than Candace, in fact, it’s not even close,” he added, offering a note of levity in the nearly 500-word post.

Trump also directed his ire toward Jones, who lost multiple legal battles regarding his unsubstantiated claims about the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. Courts ordered the Infowars host to pay $1.4 billion in total damages to the victims’ families for falsely claiming the shooting was a hoax.

Trump said Jones “lost his entire fortune, as he should have,” for pushing the hoax.

Speaking collectively, the president claimed the commentators represent “the opposite of MAGA,” referring to the Make America Great Again movement.

“They’re not ‘MAGA,’ they’re losers, just trying to latch on to MAGA,” Trump said. “As President, I could get them on my side anytime I want to, but when they call, I don’t return their calls because I’m too busy on World and Country Affairs and, after a few times, they go ‘nasty.’”

He then compared them to former Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who continues to feud with Trump online after resigning from Congress in January.

“MAGA is about WINNING and STRENGTH in not allowing Iran to have Nuclear Weapons,” Trump said. “MAGA is about MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and these people have no idea how to do that, BUT I DO, because THE UNITED STATES IS NOW THE ‘HOTTEST’ COUNTRY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!”

Responses from Carlson, Kelly, Owens, and Jones will likely be forthcoming.

Many, if not all, of them have been less than enthusiastic about Trump’s rhetoric regarding

A two-week ceasefire was secured before Trump could follow through on the threat.

The White House confirmed the message was not an “empty threat” and that the Pentagon was ready to escalate the military operation against Iran before a temporary deal was ultimately made.
