Angel Reese was not in the mood to answer questions about her stats or records after the Chicago Sky lost their first post-Olympic game.
The WNBA is back following a break of several weeks taken to accommodate the United States women’s basketball team. But Reese and the Sky had to wait on a win as the former LSU star suited up for her first outing since the All-Star Game last month.
The Phoenix Mercury got the better of them on Thursday, winning a blowout game 85-65. Saturday’s fixture produced a positive result, however, as the Sky beat the Los Angeles Sparks 90-86.
Reese recorded yet another double-double, scoring 14 points and adding 11 rebounds to follow her previous output of 15 points and 11 rebounds. But she didn’t want to talk about her growing record after Thursday’s loss and snapped at a reporter who asked her about it during the post-game presser.
“I don’t want to hear about no records,” she said.

Angel Reese Will Have No Time For Questions On Her Personal Stats While Her Team Struggles To Win Games
Angel Reese was clearly unwilling to acknowledge personal accomplishments while sharing her thoughts on her latest outing, especially as they could not help her team.
Of course, she’s going to have some difficulty avoiding this line of questioning, given the stats she’s been putting up in her rookie season, although she’s probably going to be happy to speak about it after a win.
Meanwhile, Reese and the Sky will get another crack at Phoenix this Sunday night.
