Angel Reese is finally back on the court.
Reese has returned to action for the Chicago Sky after a two-game absence due to a back injury.
Reese went through shootaround in Washington on Tuesday afternoon as the Sky prepared for a tough test against the Mystics. It would then be confirmed that Reese would indeed play.
She will bring a welcome boost to Chicago after the Sky lost the past two games by a combined 53 points. It did not start out very well.
In the first half, Angel Reese wasted no time getting to work.
She received the ball down low as she went against Mystics star Kiki Iriafen, but her first shot was wild, as it caught the bottom of the rim. As she always does, Reese got the rebound, and although she got her shot blocked, a whistle was blown for a foul as she went crashing to the court.
The female commentators could be heard laughing at Reese in the booth.
In the first half of the game, Reese played almost 18 minutes and went 3 from 11 from the floor and one for three from the three-point line as she scored 11 points and brought down eight rebounds. She also added two assists, 1 steal, and one block.

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese is back on the court again after a back injury, just when the team needs her the most.
The Chicago Sky have been going through a rough patch, losing their last five games and dropping to a 7-18 record this season.
The absence of their star, Angel Reese, in the last two games due to a nagging back issue, has been a tough blow. In fact, without her period has been rough on the franchise.
When Angel Reese hasn’t been on the court in the last two seasons, the Sky have a 1-8 record without her. This stat highlights just how vital her presence is for Chicago’s competitiveness in every game.
