Chicago Sky rookies Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso went viral after throwing the first pitches at the Chicago Cubs game on Monday night.
Reese, a former star at LSU, has been living her best life since winning a national championship last year. Cardoso, on the other hand, must still be on cloud nine after leading South Carolina to a championship earlier in 2024.
The ex-Lady Tigers forward experienced her first taste of victory in the pros, having helped the Sky beat the Dallas Wings on Saturday. They won’t be in action again until this Thursday.

Her rival, Caitlin Clark, has yet to win since getting drafted, having lost her first three games.
Cardosa, meanwhile, hasn’t made her debut as she’s out with a shoulder injury. She should play her first game on June 1.
