Paul Bissonnette fight (Photos via Twitter)
Footage of six men attacking NHL analyst and former toughy guy Paul Bissonnette at a Scottsdale, Arizona restaurant last month has been released.
On Nov. 24, Paul Bissonnette attempted to stop a group of six men from harassing the staff at the Houston’s restaurant in Scottsdale. Bissonnette claimed that he warned one of the men to stop before they all ganged up on him and engaged in a physical attack.
The fight started in the restaurant and continued outside. Thankfully, Bissonnette avoided significant injuries despite being heavily outnumbered and promised to bring down on the perpetrators.
Per Ellen McNamara of FOX 10 Phoenix, one of the culprits, Sean Daley, was indicted by a grand jury last week for aggravated assault. Charges involving the other men are being reviewed.
Surveillance video of the attack has been released. Here is the video of the beginning of the assault in Houston’s:

Speaking on an episode of the “Spitten’ Chiclets” podcast that he co-hosts with fellow former NHLer Ryan Whitney following the confrontation, Paul Bissonette explained that the men were drunk, belligerent and aggressive towards the staff after they declined to give the intoxicated men more drinks.
Bissonnette frequently attends the Houston’s restaurant and took it upon himself to protect the employees. Bissonnette’s heroics prevented potential injuries to staffers and other patrons in the restaurant.
Don’t Mess With Paul Bissonette
Before he became a popular personality on Barstool Sports and the “NHL on TNT’, “BizNasty” was an NHL enforcer who used his fists much better than his hockey stick. The 6-foot-2, 216-pound winger racked up 340 penalty minutes in just 202 NHL games.
This guy could handle professional athletes like clockwork when he was on the ice. So why those six drunk fools thought they stood a chance against Bissonnette is beyond us, but they can save the explanation for their court appearances.
