Breanna Stewart was asked to choose between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese
Throughout her rookie year, Caitlin Clark was often compared to fellow rookie, Angel Reese. Their rivalry started in college and picked up momentum during the 2024 WNBA Draft until the rest of the season. Fans have pitted them against each other, choosing which player is the better.
This time, New York Liberty All-Star Breanna Stewart was asked to choose between the two youngsters. During an interview with MARCA, Stewie gave her thoughts on the rivalry.
“I mean, it’s not an either-or with Angel or Caitlin,” Stewart said. “They both came into the league this year and did great things. Angel being atop the rebound leaders for the entire season. Caitlin, the assists.”
“And not only their impact on the court but also the presence that they have off. The fans that they are continuing to bring in. It’s been exciting to see, and I know they are only going to continue to grow.”
The current stars believe that both Clark and Reese have the chance to be the top stars in the league in the future.
