As Angel Reese further proved this week, Caitlin Clark is not the only one bringing young fans to the games.
The Chicago Sky rookie showed up to The Gateway Center Arena @ College Park for a matchup against the Atlanta Dream, and despite being on the road, she still had fans waiting for her.
As she and her teammates made their way to the court, a ton of young girls were screaming at the top of their lungs for Angel Reese and company.
Reese’s sensational rookie season reached yet another height over the weekend during the team’s 70-62 loss to the Minnesota Lynx.
She recorded her 10th consecutive double-double, and in doing so, she now has the longest such streak of all time, surpassing future Hall of Famer Candace Parker, who had nine from the 2015 season.
Along with grabbing 11.4 rebounds, Reese has posted 13.3 points and 1.5 steals, per ESPN.com.
Reese may be having a great season, but the team has had a tough time stringing victories together. They came into Tuesday’s contest with a 6-11 record.
Angel Reese Records 11th-Straight Double-Double Against The Atlanta Dream
Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese was trending before her game against the Atlanta Dream as she was on the cusp of continuing to make history.
Reese has been phenomenal on the defensive end and leads the league in rebounds.
After securing the WNBA record for most consecutive double-doubles with 10, she would get yet another and extend her streak to 11 straight games.
