Raven Johnson Dances In Style After Nick Emmanwori’s Seahawks Draft Pick
Johnson, a star in South Carolina women’s basketball, was overjoyed to see her friend Nick Emmanwori selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. She was right there when the Seahawks took him with the 35th overall pick.
Emmanwori, who left college after his junior year, had a standout career with the Gamecocks. He finished with 244 tackles, six interceptions, and two touchdowns, so his draft selection wasn’t a surprise.
In fact, the celebration was already planned. The NFL newcomer hosted a draft party in his hometown of Irmo, South Carolina, surrounded by his closest friends and family. Of course, Johnson was there too, supporting her friend.
When Emmanwori’s name was called in the second round, Raven recorded the moment and shared it online. She later posted a picture with him on Instagram, calling him “the biggest steal of the draft!”
Next, we witnessed the viral dance video that took social media by storm. In a clip shared online, Raven broke into celebratory dance moves, filling the room with energy and excitement. Neither of them is a professional dancer, but that didn’t matter—they were simply enjoying the moment.
Raven’s presence at Nick’s draft party showed the strong friendship between South Carolina athletes from different sports. The two have been close during their time at the university, with Raven returning for her fifth year of eligibility in women’s basketball.
