Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are winless through the first weeks of the WNBA season. The Fever hold an 0-5 record, lying at the bottom of the league in terms of efficiency on both ends of the court. 

They haven’t been able to find a rhythm on the offensive end, and their defense has been flat-out abysmal. While the players have struggled on the court, fans across social media believe there’s just one change that needs to be made to fix the problem.

They’re calling for the team to dismiss head coach Christie Sides, given her lineup and adjustment issues on multiple occasions.

Indiana has lost to some talented teams, but there comes a point where the problems come from within, especially when the Fever are losing close games.

There may not be an immediate change in the coaching staff, but fans have been furious in their thoughts of Sides. They believe she’s holding back Clark’s development and the Fever would excel with her firing.

“Caitlin Clark is NOT tired! Fire Christie Sides. She’s not running the ball up and down the court. She stands around a lot. For those in the back- Caitlin Clark is NOT tired!! Ridiculous. #FireChristieSides”.

“Nobody in thier right mind would start Caitlin Clark at the 2 and bench her for a significant amount of minutes after she caught momentum and tied the game…”.
