Paige Bueckers is in the building.
The former UConn star is set for her WNBA debut, albeit preseason, and fans are excited to see her go in the pros following her stellar college career.
Bueckers led the Huskies to a national championship this year and has since made the step up to the league, becoming the sixth UConn player to be drafted first overall, having been selected by the Dallas Wings in April.
Wings general manager Curt Miller branded the pick “momentous,” with a whole lot expected from the ex-Huskie, who will have some pressure on her shoulders to help turn the franchise around.

Paige Bueckers arrived for her preseason debut against the Las Vegas Aces at Notre Dame’s Purcell Pavilion wearing a black graphic T-shirt, a nod to UConn, flared black pants, and a backpack over her shoulders.
“Her wearing a UConn shirt is the funniest thing ever,” a fan wrote in the comments.
“Repping UConn at ND! Yes queen!” said another.
“Showtime for Paige !!!!!” someone declared.
“LFG!! The moment we’re all waiting for Wings X Aces. Paige debut to the W🥹,” another comment read.
Bueckers is said to be adjusting very well to life in Dallas and has impressed her coaches and teammates in training camp. The Wings plan to make her the primary ball handler, which will allow teammate Arike Ogunbowale to focus on scoring.
The game will tip off at 7:00 p.m. ET.
