Sabrina Ionescu, A’ja Wilson, Sue Bird and Chiney Ogwumike appeared in a CarMax commercial video earlier this year and the parody is here. A TikTok video was posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, which saw two WNBA fans parodying the commercial in Ionescu and Wilson’s character and the New York Liberty star could not hold her laughter.
The Sabrina character in the video is seen using the same dialogue from the commercial, telling Wilson that her car is small. Wilson’s character replies that it was small but it was fine. However, Ionescu says that the Las Vegas Aces star won two MVPs because one was not fine.
Amused by the parody video of the $11.18 billion brand ad (via Forbes), Ionescu had a one-word reaction.
“Bruhhhhhhh,” she commented.
Originally, the dialogue regarding winning two MVPs was not between Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu. It was the dialogue between Wilson and WNBA legend Sue Bird when they stepped into a car with Wilson in the driver’s seat.
For Wilson, winning two MVPs was also not enough. She has three MVP awards, the latest coming this WNBA season.

Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty had a tough Game 1 in the 2024 WNBA Finals. While her team lost the game against the Minnesota Lynx, Ionescu also struggled from the floor, especially in the last quarter.
However, the Liberty star hasn’t lost the confidence of her family. Her family from California have come all the way to support her during her second quest for the title in two seasons.
Talking to the reporters, Ionescu said that having 25 people from California meant a lot to her. She also added that having people who love her gives her an escape from the pressure of playing highly competitive basketball.
“It’s great I mean. I saw them yesterday and was able to just kind of forget about basketball for a little bit,” Ionescu said. “At this point in the season, when you’ve kind of been on this emotional high for almost a month now of this win or go home mentality — it’s nice to just sometimes step outside of that and be around the people you love.”
