All the Stars Who Showed Skin at the 2026 Grammys, from a Hint to a Whole Lot
The Grammys tend to be the most boundary-pushing of all the red carpets, and these stars certainly didn’t disappoint
There are a few things you can always count on at the Grammy awards: Energetic performances that make it hard to stay in your seat. A surprising win or two. At least one new artist that makes you wonder if you’re getting old. And of course, the most eye-popping dresses on pretty much any red carpet, anywhere — particularly those that show a little skin.
The 2026 Grammys didn’t disappoint, delivering some seriously sexy, sultry and surprising styles from Heidi Klum’s hard-to-walk-in body cast to Chappell Roan’s nipple-ring-dependent gown. See the stars who dared to bare, below.
Chappell Roan’s custom Mugler by Miguel Castro Freitas was a trompe l’oeil design inspired by a number from the 1996 Mugler runway … but even if those weren’t her actual nipple rings we were seeing, she still had to cover up for the broadcast.

Karol G’s powder-blue Paolo Sebastian gown showcased a low off-the-shoulder cut and body-skimming peekaboo silhouette.

Grammys 2026: The hottest looks from the red carpet at music’s biggest awards

Hot to trot celebrities and stars shined, shimmied and shocked on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday night. There were some breathtaking outfits and gorgeous gowns as the music world gathered for the industry’s biggest event.
Being seen in the spotlight of an award ceremony gives artists a chance to grab headlines and perhaps for the lucky ones, that brief moment might spark a movement.
While much of the talk at the Grammys was political, wows and whispers about who’s wearing what on the red carpet always set tongues wagging, and the fashion on show this year didn’t disappoint.

Feather fashion

Lady Gaga’s arrival was one of the night’s most arresting performances as she wowed wearing ablack feathered mermaid gown from the newly founded Parisian house Matières Fécales.
Feathers featured strongly for British soul sensation Olivia Dean who wore a black and white Chanel dress.

Breast is best?
Chappell Roan provided one of the night’s biggest moments when she posed on the red carpet in a custom Thierry Mugler number based off a 1998 couture outfit. Not much was left to the imagination after she let her gown fall to reveal her dress was held up by her nipples. Ouch!

Golden Globe winning actress and musician, Teyana Taylor, sent ripples through the crowd which delighted in her wearing a gravity-defying Tom Ford outfit.
Addison Rae paid homage to Marilyn Monroe as she posed for photographers in a belly plunging white Alaïa dress with a high-low tutu-style silhouette.

Romance rocks
Many eyes were on African artists with Nigeria’s late great Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti receiving a Lifetime Achievement award and South Africa’s Tyla up for Best African music performance.
The South African also opted for a train and gown designed by Dsquared2 with feathers again featuring strongly.

Despite being nominated in six categories, Sabrina Carpenter left the ceremony empty-handed but wins pride of place in our selection thanks to her sublime custom Valentino dress styled by Alessandro Michele over four months, according to Vogue.

Tuxedo, penguins and bow-ties dominated men’s outfits with few straying far from the tried and tested pack. That isn’t to say that those who opted for more classic attire didn’t look good, but in terms of standing out and seizing the moment, Sombr redefined his name with his shiny and sparkling outfit made by Valentino.
