Who Is Jaylon Johnson’s Girlfriend Janessa McFadden? Meet Bears CB’s Registered Nurse Life-Partner

But that kind of success comes with its own strains and pressures that can exacerbate issues athletes deal with. Jaylon Johnson bravely came out about his struggles with s*x addiction earlier this year. Acknowledging and coping with something like that can’t be easy, but he had the support of his lovely fiancee, Janessa McFadden, through it all.

Who is Jaylon Johnson’s girlfriend?

Jaylon Johnson’s is in a relationship with Janessa McFadden, and they’re both Fresno natives. It’s unclear when they met, or if Fresno had anything to do with it. They’re a surprisingly private couple. Truth be told, we can’t even give you a birthday or even year for her. But we do know she was born to James and Janette McFadden, who affectionately call their daughter “Nessie” sometimes.

Beyond that, our information about her life picks up very recently. She made it into the Fresno City College’s nursing program a few years ago and graduated as a honor roll student in 2022. She then went on to become a registered nurse at Aspen University in Colorado. Most recently, she’s been working as a registered nurse at Valley Children’s Healthcare in California, a position she’s well suited to, given her specialization in pediatric critical care.

Her dad’s been a constant support throughout this period. James L. McFadden already had tangential connections to the medical industry, being a spokesperson for Zija International. He works as a mentor and life coach, and is fond of saying he’s “in the relationship building business.” It’s practically his catchphrase. He celebrated with several public Facebook posts after his daughter qualified as a resident nurse. It’s sweet and wholesome to see how supportive her family has been to her.

When are Jaylon and Janessa getting married?

Well, you already know how instrumental McFadden was in getting Johnson to pull his life together. Johnson’s spoken at length about how easy it was for him with girls right from high school. It became a compulsive need for him that he craved, to the point it negatively affected him. Janelle was different, she was special. He wanted to set a good example for his first daughter, Zaveah. It was after talking to Janelle about his struggles that he finally agreed to seek therapy for his problems.

After Johnson recovered and opened up, it was in May 2024 that a 2-fold announcement came. Not only was Nessie pregnant with Jaylon Johnson’s child, but he’d decided to put a ring on her. We don’t have any firm dates on when they’re getting married yet, but they’ve been engaged for 6 months now.
