Anthony Edwards’ saga with baby mama Ayesha Howard isn’t over yet, despite the NBA superstar paying her over a million dollars as part of a child support settlement.

Recent reports suggest that she isn’t ready to finalize anything yet. While Edwards has agreed to her having sole custody of their daughter for now, she isn’t okay with the terms: one of which states she cannot say anything bad about him in public, and another preventing her from posting their daughter on social media.

Edwards’ team filed a new motion in a Los Angeles court last week, alleging that Howard has made changes despite their agreeing to remove the terms noted above, per HotNewHipHop.

They claim that she has demanded payment of $500,000 and a public apology from Edwards, plus she wants him to publicly retract any defamatory or misleading statements made about her during their bitter court battle.

Another source claims she wants to be paid $55,000 a month for the rest of her life.

The Minnesota Timberwolves guard paid a lump sum of $1,080,000 to Ayesha, the mother of his daughter, Aubri Summers Howard, instead of paying monthly installments of $5,000.

His legal team set up the deal to prevent any future adjustments should his salary increase at any point.

Anthony decided to pay the full sum up front to cover 18 years of child support, waiving visitation rights, making it clear he was only seeking financial closure.

Ayesha initially agreed to the monthly amount but has since rejected the lump sum, claiming it would prevent her from seeking increases in the future should the player earn a bigger contract.

“I already used $100,000 out of the money… What if I finish it before the 18 years is up?” she asked.

It appears it could be a while before this is all over.
