Cameras caught Los Angeles Sparks star Kelsey Plum trucking Indiana Fever standout Lexie Hull during Saturday night’s clash at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Midway through the fourth quarter, Lexie Hull and teammate Makayla Timpson were trying to defend against Plum, with Indiana clinging to a one-point lead. As you can see, Plum bumped Hull to the ground, made a pass and then trucked the Fever star as she was down on the ground:
The officials then ruled a jump ball. Julie Vanloo of the Sparks gained possession, but the visitors committed a shot clock violation that gave Indiana the ball. But when all was said and done, Plum and the Sparks pulled out a close 89-87 victory against the Caitlin Clark-less Fever.
The incident between Plum and Hull wasn’t the only little skirmish during Saturday’s contest, though. Vanloo was seen choking Sophie Cunningham as the two scrambled for a loose football:

The victory improved Plum and the Sparks to 6-13, while Indiana fell to 9-9. Los Angeles is now three games behind the Las Vegas Aces for the final playoff spot.
