Following the Iowa Hawkeyes’ latest announcement about the upcoming women’s basketball season, Caitlin Clark took to social media.

Iowa announced that they have sold out season tickets for the 2024-25 season, marking the second straight year that the Hawkeys have achieved that feat.

The Hawkeyes posted the news on social media with the message “15,000 strong, all season long.”

Clark, who previously played at Iowa from 2020-24, reposted the news with the caption, “Someone save me a ticket.”

The Hawkeyes will begin their season on Sept. 6 against Northern Illinois. Iowa may be turning the page on a new chapter of the program, with Clark gone to the WNBA and former head coach Lisa Bluder retiring, but Hawkeyes fans seem to be excited about the future.

Clark ended her four-year career at the collegiate level with the Iowa Hawkeyes as the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer, with 3,951 points. During those four seasons as a full-time starter, Clark averaged 28.4 points, 8.2 assists, and 7.1 rebounds per game.

The now Indiana Fever rookie led the Hawkeyes to back-to-back Final Four appearances but fell short in 2023 and 2024.

As the Hawkeyes prepare for another collegiate season, Clark has spent the past few months taking over the WNBA landscape. After being selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the latest draft, she helped the Fever secure a spot in the WNBA playoffs for the first time since 2016.

Clark finished her rookie regular season averaging 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game. She led the WNBA in average assists and led all first-year players in scoring.

Indiana is currently playing in a first-round playoff series against the Connecticut Sun. The Fever are facing an elimination game on Wednesday after falling 0-1 in the series in Game 1.
