She was a near-unanimous winner of the Rookie of the Year award and finished fourth in the MVP voting. After the long-awaited announcement, many promptly saw how the league misspelled her name and reacted.Clark became the first rookie to earn an All-WNBA first-team slot since Candace Parker in 2008. Besides the Fever star and Parker, only three rookies in league history earned that distinction. The rookie’s passing wasn’t the only threat she offered on the floor. Indiana’s court general also unloaded 122 3-pointers, the second-best mark in a single season in the WNBA.Caitlin Clark generated 38.3 points per game or 45.2% of the Indiana Fever offense last season, the best in the WNBA. Only NBA superstar Luka Doncic’s 57.4 PPG and 48.6% total offense are better than the rookie’s output.
