The NFL has seen snow affect at least one of its most recent games, a divisional rivalry between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns. However, that was only the beginning, and the Buffalo Bills are next on the list.
The Buffalo Bills played the Kansas City Chiefs in their last game before heading into the bye week. They pulled off the upset and handed the Chiefs their first loss of the 2024 NFL season by a score of 30-21.
Not only did the Bills enjoy a phenomenal bye week, but quarterback Josh Allen also enjoyed himself as it has now been confirmed that he and now fiancee Hailee Steinfeld got engaged this past week.
Now, not only are the Bills preparing for a tough match-up against the injury-plagued yet unrelenting San Fransisco 49ers, but they are also getting set to play in the snow for the first time in the 2024 season.
The Buffalo Bills Are Asking Fans For Help
With the news of a “lake effect snow warning,” the Bills recently took to social media to ask their fans to sign up to possibly help shovel snow out of their stadium in preparation for Sunday’s game against the 49ers.
The National Weather Service stated, “Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially dangerous.” If things aren’t dealt with in time, this could spell disaster for the game
As game time approaches, it’s possible that many fans will make the trudge to Highmark Stadium to help dig their home stadium out of the cold, wet snow. Who knows, maybe the weather will just help the Bills to their second straight win on Sunday!
