Caitlin Clark was at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, Massachusetts, as one of the speakers at “The 2024 Massachusetts Conference for Women,” joining some of the biggest faces in the world. The Indiana Fever star was dressed for the occasion.

In a picture posted on Instagram, Caitlin Clark was seen wearing an emerald green ensemble at the conference. According to the post, Clark was wearing an emerald green, Favorite Daughter’s $328 “The Emily” jacket. The WNBA star had paired it with a matching color, $248 ‘The Low Favorite Pant’ fro. from the same brand.

After her latest accolades and appearance of talks shows, Clark appeared at The 2024 Massachusetts Conference for Women on December 12. She joined TV legend Oprah Winfrey, three-time Olympic gold medalist Gail Devers, Gayle King, Robin Roberts and Beverly Johnson at the speaker’s panel.

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith blasts WNBA fans and players for harsh Caitlin Clark treatment

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith has spoken in favor of the WNBA promoting Caitlin Clark. He advocated for the WNBA to give more attention to Clark and market the league, making the Iowa star the face of the league.

On one of the latest episodes of his “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” the sports analyst slammed the WNBA fans and players for being “resentful” against the Fever star.

Smith also pointed out the reasons why Caitlin Clark deserved Time’s Athlete of the Year.

“Her presence led to higher ratings, improved travel for players and increased salaries for women across the league,” Smith said. “And that’s where I was going to go. That’s why she deserves the Athlete of the Year. You know what? She’s white. … Call it whatever you want. I’m not going to go as far as to say reverse racism.

“I don’t think people felt that way. But clearly when you consider some of the hard times other people gave her, they were resentful of the fact that this white girl came on the scene where there was a bunch of sisters that preceded her spanning decades that were big time, that deserved a lot of credit.”

The fame that Clark is enjoying is unprecedented. Not only was she named the Time’s Athlete of the Year, but she was also on the list of Forbes’ 2025 30 Under 30 and among the 100 Most Powerful Women in the World.

With the amount of attention that Caitlin Clark has received this offseason, it has set a different expectation for her in the WNBA next season.
