Connor McDavid, the star player of the Edmonton Oilers, led Team Canada to win against Team USA at the 4 Nations Face Off’s final match. While Connor McDavid was disappointed with his performance at the final match, his wife, Lauren Kyle feels differently. Recently, food giant McDonald’s changed the name of its two locations in Canada to “McDavid” and will keep the new name for one week. Connor McDavid’s wife, Laurem Kyle, has reacted to this heartfelt gesture.
Connor McDavid’s Wife Lauren Kyle Reacts To McDonald’s Heartfelt Tribute To The Star Player
Connor McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle, took to her Instagram to share McDonald’s post about changing the name of its locations to “McDavid”. Connor McDavid’s wife also posted another image of the actual location where the name has been changed to her husband’s surname. While Lauren Kyle has not added a caption to either of the stories that she posted for her husband, it is evident how proud she is of Connor McDavid.
Connor McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle, has also been spotted cheering for her husband as he played for Team Canada at the 4 Nations Face Off. While praises are pouring in for the star player, after the final, Connor McDavid opened up in an interview about his feelings of not being able to give his best.
However, fans feel differently and have continued to hail him as a hero. With the end of the 4 Nations Face Off, Connor McDavid has gone back to playing for his NHL team, the Edmonton Oilers as a part of the regular NHL season.
But it seems like Connor McDavid has not been able to adjust to the transition well. Recently, he opened up about coming back to the regular NHL season after playing at the 4 Nations Face Off and fans are pretty worried about his statement.
He said, “I’d be lying if I said I’ve been feeling good out there. You know, it’s been tough to get going…obviously big emotional week um exciting week, last week”.
With the next match being against the Carolina Hurricanes, fans are expecting Connor McDavid to improve himself
