When the conversation turned to finances, Morman mentioned that the 22-year-old has an estimated net worth of $2 million, according to multiple reports. Reese interrupted, expressing disagreement. Angel Reese’s lifestyle isn’t what you think it is. “Is that wrong?” Morman asked. “That’s right,” Reese replied.

She added that the estimate was “far from the truth,” though she didn’t reveal a specific figure. One thing about me is I have a very good circle of friends around me, and I think that’s incredibly important.” Reese’s comments come a month after she revealed that her rent in Chicago exceeded her salary as a WNBA player. She made $73,439 during her rookie season, while her $8,000-a-month rent cost her $96,000 a year. “I just hope people know, the WNBA doesn’t pay any of my bills. I don’t even think it pays one of my bills,” Reese said. Reese will receive a six-figure salary from Unrivaled, a new 3-on-3 women’s basketball league that launched in January, along with her other offseason ventures.
