Brittany and Patrick Mahomes Share First Photos of Baby Daughter Golden’s Face: ‘What Truly Matters’

Brittany Mahomes is showing the world a glimpse of her little one!

On Thursday, June 12, the Kansas City Current co-owner, 29, shared a series of photos in a joint post on Instagram that featured the first photo of her 5-month-old daughter Golden Raye’s face. In the first photo, the family of five posed together in front of a brown backdrop.

Brittany’s husband, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, stood holding their baby daughter, who wore a denim jumper and a white onesie.

The proud mom also included solo shots of her 4-year-old daughter, Sterling Skye, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, 2, as well as a photo of all three siblings smiling together. “What truly matters🤍,” Brittany wrote in her caption.

Earlier this week, Brittany appeared on the WHOOP podcast and opened up about welcoming her baby daughter Golden Raye. As she spoke with host Will Ahmed, the founder & CEO of the fitness company noted he’d just chatted with Patrick, who said Brittany can be competitive in labor.

“And now I was just talking to Patrick, and he said you were very competitive about the labor process. Like it was going to be the best birth ever,” Ahmed said.

“Yes. Yes. And it was. Every birth, I got better. My push time decreased,” Brittany shared.

Asked if she keeps track of it, Brittany confirmed that she does. “Yes. Yeah. Every year I’m like, ‘Okay. We got to beat seven minutes. We got to beat five minutes. We got to do it,’ ” she joked. “And we did.”

Although this is the first picture of Golden’s face, Brittany has shared glimpse at her little one over the past few months and has even explained why she initially didn’t want to share pictures of her daughter.

In March, Brittany reposted a video of her working out with Nike global trainer Betina Gozo Shimonek, who was on triple duty, watching both her daughter Makoa and Brittany’s daughter Golden while also training Brittany. Shortly after, Brittany reposted the same video, clarifying that while Makoa’s face was shown in the clip, her daughter Golden’s was not.

“I think I need to clarify, Golden is in the stroller 🤣 you can’t see her and won’t for a while 🤣😘,” she wrote. “That is Makoa in the bouncer 🤣.”

On Jan. 12, Brittany and Patrick welcomed their third baby, announcing the exciting news on Instagram with a black-and-white photo.

In the photo, Brittany and Patrick could be seen holding their baby daughter’s feet above a wooden sign that read her name. “•Golden Raye Mahomes• 1/12/25🎀✨,” they wrote in the caption of their joint post.

Patrick Mahomes is preparing for his ninth season in the NFL after leading the Kansas City Chiefs to three straight Super Bowls.

While Mahomes has only played eight seasons, he’s already established himself as one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in NFL history.

During his time with the Chiefs, Mahomes has led his team to three Super Bowl titles. The Chiefs quarterback has also been named a two-time AP MVP, a two-time All-Pro and a six-time Pro Bowler.

Now, as he works toward another season in his journey in the NFL, all eyes are on another Super Bowl title for Mahomes and his teammates.

However, amid the quest for another Super Bowl title, Brittany, Mahomes’ wife, sent a heartfelt message.

“What truly matters,” Brittany said.

Patrick Mahomes then reposted the photos on social media, which featured the first public image of their newborn, Golden Raye.

Golden Raye, who was born on January 12, received a heart emoji in Patrick Mahomes’ reaction to the post.

Brittany Mahomes’ family photos also received a response from Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt’s wife, Tavia Hunt.

“These are everything,” Hunt said. “I can’t stop smiling at all the love and joy! So much blessing! Love to you all!”

Last season wth the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes had yet another successful year, leading his team to the AFC title.

During his eighth season in the NFL, Mahomes posted 26 touchdowns and 3,928 yards, completing 67.5% of his pass attempts.
