They say that copying someone is the best way to show you admire them. It’s pretty cool that Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany are being seen as a couple to emulate! Looks like Travis Kelce and his girlfriend Taylor Swift are looking to follow in their footsteps with a new goal of their own.

The couple has some exciting plans in the works! They’re looking to open a liquor store together and even buy land in Italy and Hawaii. Plus, according to a report from Life & Style, they’re thinking about following in the Mahomes’ footsteps by possibly co-owning a pro sports team together. “They’re planning to kick off all sorts of projects together, from a joint production company to co-owning a sports team. Their main aim is to boost their bank accounts and influence as a team,” a source shared with Life & Style. Mahomes and his wife co-own the Kansas City Current in the National Women’s Soccer League. The 29-year-old quarterback also owns a small piece of the Kansas City Royals in MLB. So, Mahomes bought that stake back in 2020, right after he inked his massive 10-year, $450 million deal with the Chiefs. Mahomes, whose dad Pat played in Major League Baseball, was once a baseball prospect too. He even got drafted in the 37th round of the 2014 MLB Draft by the Detroit Tigers, but he never ended up signing a contract.

Recently, there’s been some buzz about Swift possibly looking to buy a stake in the Chiefs, who are currently owned by Clark Hunt. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell thinks the idea might be a bit out there, but he recently mentioned to SI.com’s Albert Breer that if she’s genuinely interested in owning part of an NFL team, “she has the ability to do it.”

We’re not really sure if Hunt is thinking about selling even a tiny piece of his team. But with Swift being so popular and bringing a lot of attention to the NFL, it’s definitely something to keep in mind. Besides Taylor Swift’s date with Travis Kelce, her outfit definitely got people talking. As this power couple keeps fans intrigued with their very public romance, there’s chatter that the Grammy winner might have just teased something about her eagerly awaited album. During a charming date night at the Italian restaurant Torrisi in New York City, the NFL superstar and music sensation were spotted holding hands as they made their way inside.

On Monday, Mahomes shared a series of photos on Instagram from her recent whirlwind European trip, during which she supported her dear friend on her Eras Tour.

“London & Amsterdam, a time was had,” Mahomes wrote in the caption of the post.

In one photo, Swift kisses Mahomes on the head as Mahomes smiles at the camera.

Swift took the stage for four nights at London’s Wembley Stadium from June 20-23, and performed for three nights in Amsterdam.

She’ll return to Wembley Stadium next month to perform another set of shows.

Mahomes and Swift have become the best of friends over the past year. The two have attended football games together to cheer on their significant others, who both play for the Kansas City Chiefs.

In addition to the photos with Swift, Mahomes’ Instagram post included sweet photos with her husband and snapshots with her kids.

Recently, Mahomes announced that she is expecting her third child with Patrick Mahomes. The couple are already parents to daughter Sterling Skye Mahomes, 3, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 1.
