Caitlin Clark chooses Prada to make draft history and moves away from Angel Reese’s style
Clark is on a path to the top

New Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is making her way to the top of the sporting world and she turned up to the WNBA Draft in style.
The draft took place on Monday evening and she was the No.1 overall pick, quickly being snapped up by the Fever. Whilst she is getting plenty of plaudits for her sporting achievements, some are focusing on what she chose to wear at the draft.

It is believed that Clark is the first-ever player, for the NBA or WNBA, to have been dressed by famous Italian fashion brand Prada for the draft.
Clark is being viewed as a pioneer in women’s basketball as she and LSU’s Angel Reese seem to have created a public interest in women’s basketball that was not previously there.
Clark makes history
She became the top-scoring NCAA Division I player of all time, both NBA and WNBA, during her senior year with the Iowa Hawkeyes, and her rivalry with Reese was one of the main points of intrigue.
Clark was wearing a two-piece satin mini skirt and jacket set with a shimmering silver tube top, with her purse also coming from Prada.
She was the No.22 for the Hawkeyes and they have since retired her jersey, showing just how transformative a player she was.
Clark told Holly Rowe after being picked first in the WNBA draft: “Just enjoying the moment. I dreamed of this moment since I was in second grade. It’s taken a lot of hard work. … I went to Iowa with the goal of taking us to the Final Four – we did it twice.”
