Aliyah Boston, star of the Indiana Fever and All-Star teammate of Caitlin Clark, took the opportunity to make a request to the basketball player after her participation in The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge, an LPGA Pro-Am competition.

This event, held at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, brought together professional golfers like world No. 1 Nelly Korda and legendary golfer Annika Sörenstam, who the tournament is named after.

Caitlin Clark, known for her basketball skills and success with the Indiana Fever, decided to try her hand at golf and participated in the event, where she was joined by other professional golfers and celebrities.

Clark and her team finished with a net -11, tying for eighth place with four other teams. While the highest score was -22, achieved by a team that included professionals like Thidapa Suwannapura and Mao Saigo, Clark enjoyed the experience, and the competition was marked by camaraderie and enthusiasm among the participants.

On Thursday night, Clark shared several photos from the event on Instagram, highlighting her foray into the world of golf. Aliyah Boston, her teammate on the Fever, left a comment on the post that didn’t go unnoticed.

“What can’t you do?” Boston asked, referring to Clark’s many talents. She then asked Clark, “Can you teach me how to golf? Trying to add it to my resume.”

Caitlin’s Response

Clark’s response was equally playful and enthusiastic: “Let’s make a TikTok about it,” she replied, adding a devil emoji.

Boston quickly responded, “I’m ready when you are, sista gurlll,” showing the strong friendship and camaraderie between the two players.

The event was not only a showcase of Caitlin Clark’s versatility, as she continues to shine in basketball, but also highlighted the strong bond she shares with her teammates. During the 2024 WNBA season, Boston and Clark have formed one of the best guard/forward duos, leading the Fever to their first postseason since 2016.

Although Boston saw a slight dip in her points per game compared to her rookie season, she recorded career highs in rebounds (8.9) and assists (3.2).

With the addition of 2023 Coach of the Year Stephanie White, the future looks promising for the Indiana Fever, with a talented young core poised to compete for the championship.
